
Telephone Sales Consultant

- Execute daily, weekly and monthly telephone call expectations to portfolio customers
- Build rapport and relationship with portfolio customers
- Identify sales opportunities and ability to add value to the relationship
- Inform customers of all relevant deals, discounts and promotional material
- Ensure customer orders are keyed into appropriate portal promptly and accurately
- Ensure customer information is entered promptly and accurately into CRM system
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Perform role to meet and exceed required business targets
- Attend company events as required
- Minimum 1 year experience in a sales role dealing with business customers
- Experience in a KPI and high-pressure target-driven environment
- Very good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), especially over the phone.
- Good stakeholder management skills, including interacting with different levels of seniority
- Proactive mindset (engaging & impact-oriented) anticipating needs and issues.
- High attention to detail with the ability to think end-to-end on behalf of the customer and work with a sense of purpose
- Business acumen and very good numerical and analytical skills
- Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficient in MS Office
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Foreign language and previous call centre experience advantageous
