We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that is seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters and Maintenance Electricians to join their team.
This role is responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and equipment to keep operations running smoothly and minimise downtime.
The Role
- Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown repairs on plant equipment
- Conducting inspections and tests to ensure machinery meets compliance and safety standards
- Monitoring equipment performance and identifying improvements
- Maintaining accurate records of parts, work orders, and maintenance history
- Managing spare parts inventory to support production needs
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and assisting with failure investigations
- Collaborating with other departments to meet operational goals
- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Electrician (Electrical Licence or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, cold chain, and product handling (highly regarded)
- Safety-focused with good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or be on-call if required (standard hours Mon–Fri, 6am–2pm)
