Investigating breaches of development consent,
Investigating incidents of pollution, illegal advertising, abandoned vehicles,
Investigating unlawful use of public land and compliance or safety issues relating to construction sites

HSC or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry.
Ability to read, understand, interpret, apply and/or enforce legislation, policies and guidelines
Ability to carry out tasks and processes, involving the collection of information from a variety of sources, for use in determining and applying a suitable course of action.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated conflict resolution, consultation, negotiation and customer service skills.

I confirm that I am available to work 38 hrs per week within a 7-day rotating roster and I have capacity to participate in after-hours 'on-call' duties (every 3 weeks for a period of 7 days). I understand that the position also has access to a rostered day off system which requires employees to work an additional 2.5 hrs a week to accrue the RDO, rostered every 3 weeks. I understand that it is a six-week roster requiring a weekly rotation between an early shift (6am to 2:40pm) and a late shift (9:50am to 6:30pm) with a minimum of 1 in 3 weekends. I understand that on-call work requires response to after-hours calls and potentially attending locations within the local government area within 40 mins of receiving calls. * * Yes
