About the RoleAs Team Leader, you'll manage a crew of approx.6 in the installation of optic fibre cables using ploughing techniques. You'll split your time between leading on-site operations and planning, reporting, and liaising with supervisors. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, civil experience, and a passion for working in remote environments.Key Responsibilities

Oversee civil activities including cable hauling, excavation, and equipment operation
Maintain safety standards and lead daily pre-start/toolbox talks
Monitor project delivery, quality, and team performance
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain records, schedules, and progress reports
Operate plant and equipment: dozer, excavator, vacuum truck, winches, HR trucks

What You'll Need

HR Licence (preferred) & Construction White Card
Experience leading plough crews in fibre installation (Optic Fibre Plough preferred)
Strong planning, communication & IT skills
Ability to work remotely and live in a caravan when required
Desirable tickets: Excavator, Dozer, Traffic Management, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, High Risk Licence
