
National SAP & Inventory Manager

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the direct and indirect inventory teams across the logistics network, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory stock control and reconciliation with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including conducting inventory counts, variance reconciliations, and health checks on aged in-transits.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of systems, including automation and 3PLs, to optimize warehouse operational efficiencies. This includes managing WMS master data, MLOR, and bin configurations.
- Quality Control: Manage aged and non-conforming goods, including disposal, donations, write-offs, and compliance with audit traceability requirements.
- Material Management: Handle material management processes related to CHEP and LOSCAM, ensuring effective tracking and reporting.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize warehouse inventory analytics to drive decision-making and performance improvement initiatives. Conduct regular system housekeeping to maintain data integrity.
- Operational Support: Provide support to operations teams regarding system issues, knowledge transfer, and training to ensure smooth inventory operations.
- Receiving and Returns Management: Oversee the receiving of unlabeled stock from co-manufacturers, IMS, and third-party purchases, as well as the management of returns into the warehouse.
- Continuous Improvement: Support and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and Operational Management Processes (OMP) to enhance inventory management practices.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Logistics Professional, preferably in a Warehouse Inventory Manager role leading a team of Stock/Inventory Controllers. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in inventory and stock management end-to-end processes, specifically in SAP Logistics and Warehouse Management modules.
- Education: Formal tertiary qualifications in an analytical field such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Economics, IT, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in data gathering and analysis tools, with strong Excel skills for data review and performance improvement execution.
- Mindset: A continuous improvement mentality with a passion for root cause resolution. Ability to work effectively under pressure and within operational time constraints.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish credibility and discuss complex topics with various stakeholders.
