You'll be part of a supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drive outcomes.What role will you play?As a Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Crime Risk Assurance Review Managers and Head of Assurance in the creation, maintenance, and timely execution of the Assurance plan and work closely with other members of the team to deliver valuable risk insights into the effectiveness of Macquarie's financial crime risk management framework. You will engage with senior business and functional stakeholders during the planning, fieldwork and reporting stages of the assurance reviews and develop assurance related management information, maintaining regulatory knowledge and horizon scanning to inform views of emerging risks and focus areas. You will have the opportunity to work with the Assurance Data and Innovation Team to develop and deliver automation and future assurance processes and tools, as well as big data and artificial intelligence reviews.What you offer
  • Previous experience in an assurance function, internal audit or comparable risk and control related role within financial services or external consultancy
  • Strong understanding of global financial crime standards and regulatory changes, such as AML, Sanctions and AB&C
  • Experience in reviewing models (including natural language processing and AI) would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to distil complex issues into clear and concise briefings
  • Strong influencing and organisational skills.
