Location: Regional Victoria (3h from Melbourne)We are seeking an experienced Medical Professional for the role of Co-Director at Anaesthetics Department in a regional healthcare facility located in regional Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your leadership and clinical expertise in a busy perioperative environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist anaesthetist and perioperative services within your clinical scope.
- Participate in Anaesthesia Clinics, ensuring thorough documentation in line with professional standards.
- Continuously monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and best practices.
- Support the delivery of best-practice pain management as per professional standards.
- Offer consultancy services for High Dependency Unit (HDU) patients (e.g., CVC placement, arterial lines).
- Join the on-call roster for anaesthetics and be available for recall when needed.
- Respond to clinical emergencies as per established policies and procedures.
- Supervise, educate, and mentor Doctors-in-Training.
- Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).
