About the rolePermanent and temporary Emergency Physician hours available at Footscray Hospital effectively immediately. Fantastic opportunity to become a member of the team moving to the New Footscray Hospital in February 2026! Must have FACEM or FACEM-equivalent qualification.Key responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise in the management of patients, and supervision of junior doctors, in the Emergency Department and Emergency Observation Unit
  • Actively participate in essential department clinical support activities
  • Actively participate in continuous quality improvement activities
  • Actively contribute to and engage in department and organisational activities and priorities
  • Represent and promote the ED and its priorities and values
About you:
  • Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Committed to personal continuing professional development
  • Demonstrated qualities of enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
