We are currently seeking a fully qualified Boilermaker / Welder for our purpose built workshop at Gepps Cross. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and/or repair of Caterpillar components for mining, construction, earthmoving and associated equipment.Producing superior attachments for a range of customised equipment will be second nature to you, as will your ability to follow strict safety procedures.Your responsibilities will include:

Fabrication, repair and rebuilding large components for heavy underground and earth moving equipment;
Processing orders in a productive manner and communicating with Supervisors on work in progress;
Ensure compliance with all OHS requirements.

Skills and Experience:

Trade qualified (Boilermaker / Welder);
Heavy fabrication experience is essential;
The ability to interpret drawings and specifications;
Sound communication skills - both written and verbal;
Hold a current driver's licence and forklift ticket.
