Develop diverse strategies and policies to deliver on the implementation of the Integrated Transport Plan policy framework, ensuring the City is provided with a sustainable integrated transport system.What you’ll be working on

Leading the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of Council’s traffic and transport policies, strategies and plans.
Ensuring consultation and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, including the community.
Undertaking project management tasks, including preparing tender briefs.
Providing professional advice to internal and external audiences to achieve sustainable and strategic transport outcomes.
Develop various written communications such as reports and correspondence.

What you'll need to succeed

Tertiary qualification in transport planning, strategic planning, traffic and/or transport engineering or a closely related field.
Substantial experience with integrated transport planning, strategic land use and/or sustainable transport related issues.
Knowledge of current transport related issues and relevant policies and government roles.
Substantial experience in project development, management and delivery of outcomes.
Ability to communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively, and engage stakeholders.
