- Leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a project team(s) and taking a high level of ownership of a project's direction and its outcomes
- Managing client relationships on projects while proactively developing strong relationships in your specific industry or market focus
- Managing project financials and proactively identifying and addressing project risks as they arise
- Assisting Directors, Managing Directors and Partners with defining project scopes and requirements
- Identifying and pursuing new client opportunities and business development activities within your specific industry or market focus
- Stewardship and coaching of junior team members within our practice, and investing in their career journeys in addition to your own
- Contributing to the growth of the broader practice through thought leadership and knowledge sharing whilst helping support team recruitment and onboarding, learning and growth, and culture and connection

You'll also directly engage with clients through designing and facilitating interviews and workshops.You'll collaborate with experts across Deloitte, such as Deloitte Access Economics, Deloitte Digital, Sustainability & Climate, and Engineering, AI & Data. You'll grow in a culture that prioritises continuous development, mentorship, and a comparatively healthy work-life balance.Enough about us, let's talk about you.As the Strategy Associate Director, you will likely possess a tertiary degree with an outstanding academic record, coupled with either demonstrated strategy consulting experience in a Tier 1 consulting firm or strategy boutique, or strong experience in a senior leadership role within a local government organisation. In addition, you will demonstrate exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise mature judgment.Given the stakeholder requirements associated with the role, you are likely to possess highly effective communication skills, allowing you to build trust and credibility with key stakeholders, driving key outcomes and developing new opportunities.Furthermore, you will demonstrate proven capabilities in team leadership, mentoring and people management, developing effective and efficient work environments, enabling others to work to the best of their abilities.Why Deloitte?At Deloitte, we focus our energy on interesting and impactful work.
