Our Marketing and Communications team, within the Communications, Advocacy and Investment department, delivers strategic marketing and communications that support Council's services, projects and community engagement. We partner with departments across Whitehorse to deliver campaigns that inform, inspire and connect with our diverse community.The role:Reporting to the Coordinator Marketing and Communications, you will plan, deliver and evaluate marketing campaigns that promote Council's services, projects and initiatives. You will develop tailored strategies for diverse audiences, create engaging content across digital, social and print channels, and provide strategic marketing advice to internal clients. This role also involves managing multiple projects, collaborating across departments, and ensuring all communications align with Council's brand and strategic goals.Key Highlights

About you:You are a strategic and creative marketing professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects while delivering campaigns that make a measurable impact.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant professional experience in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, developing and implementing marketing campaigns which increase uptake of services/revenue
  • Excellent organisation and coordination skills
  • Strong ability to build collaborative relationships with internal clients and enhance understanding of effective communications practices
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
