- Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment
- Preparing raw materials for production runs
- Monitoring and maintaining yeast quality through adherence to specifications, cleaning and sanitization procedures
- Maintaining production, quality and safety records
- Working in a team environment to ensure products are manufactured to meet customer needs, production targets and deadlines
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues
- Previous experience as a Production Operator in a food manufacturing environment
- Highly attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Solid literacy and numeracy skills - able to complete production documentation (basic calculation skills)
- High level of physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and ability to lift 25kgs
- Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern including night shifts, Monday – Friday, with the opportunity for occasional weekend work
