- Provide vital support to the Senior Project Engineer across all project activities
- Manage and promote a strong safety (HSE) culture, ensuring full compliance and striving for best practice standards
- Support the Senior Project Engineer in labour planning and ensuring all site staff are fully inducted and trained
- Assist in planning and coordinating building projects from inception to completion
- Ensure projects meet budget, timeline, and quality requirements
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities
- Coordinate with designers, engineers, sub-contractors, and stakeholders to resolve any issues
- Prepare and review project documentation, such as subcontract agreements, ITPs, works methodologies
- Implement quality assurance and control procedures relevant to building construction
- Prepare detailed work plans, construction schedules, and cost estimates
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in a Project Engineer role within civil construction
- Previous experience with piling and structural steel is highly regarded.
- The ability to provide oversight and mentorship to Site Engineers
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills (including with local authorities and community groups)
- Willingness to work night shift for an extended period
