Randstad are seeking an experienced Packing Machine Operator with the potential to be a production line supervisor to join a well established locally owned business in the western suburbs! Whether you're an experienced production supervisor looking for a change or an experienced machine operator looking for your next step, This role could be for you!Key Responsibilities

Efficient operation of packing machines including loading and unloading raw materials
Monitor the production process to ensure quality standards are met
Follow production schedules and collaborate with team members to meet requirements & Customer Orders
Manage a small team of packing machine line workers
Maintain inventory of packing supplies & spare parts
Troubleshoot equipment when required
Follow planned maintenance schedules of machines and ensure completion by the team
Ensure all food safety in line with HACCP standards and OHS are met and followed

Successful candidates will have

Proven ability to operate a VFFS packing machine with multi head weigher, or similar transferable skills.
A current valid Forklift License
The ability to work autonomously and use initiative
Sound communication & interpersonal skills
Strong understand of WHS requirements
Experience within food production -Highly Desirable
Experience leading a team -Highly Desirable
