We build relationships to ensure we give the best advice to fulfil our purpose - Caring for People, Enabling Health and Inspiring Wellness.We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant/Sleep Apnoea Consultant to grow our sleep health service as part of the Port Lincoln Pharmacy team.Job OverviewSleep Apnoea Consultants play a pivotal role in educating, identifying, and treating those with either undiagnosed or diagnosed sleep apnoea. They oversee sleep studies, analyse results, and formulate personalised treatment plans using PAP therapy. Our consultants serve as enthusiastic advocates for our sleep apnoea services to Members, customers, and local healthcare providers.Successful candidates will undergo an extensive 4-week initial training program and assessment. Ongoing annual training and assessments will follow to ensure continuous professional development across all aspects of our sleep business. The successful applicant must be available to travel to Adelaide periodically for training. As part of the onboarding process, a core skills profile assessment will be conducted.People who excel as National Pharmacies Sleep Apnoea Consultants consistently demonstrate:
  • profound understanding of sleep apnoea, including its symptoms, risk factors and complications while being able to confidently educate others on these aspects.
  • extensive knowledge of PAP therapy, proficiently interpreting results, and delivering comprehensive and personalised services, including device setup, mask fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting, and product education.
  • ability to collaborate with allied health practitioners to ensure optimal health outcomes for patients
  • meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in computer skills.
  • care in maintaining a well-presented consultation room and in-store display, coupled with a well-stocked sleep apnoea product range.
  • willingness to continue to learn about the products and services National Pharmacies offers
