- Provide comprehensive clinical supervision, mentorship and professional development guidance to junior physiotherapy staff and Allied Health Assistants, fostering their clinical expertise and career progression
- Lead the development, review and evaluation of evidence-based clinical protocols, policies, procedures and resources to ensure alignment with contemporary best practice standards and optimal patient outcomes
- Undertake clinical training and education activities, including the development of training resources
- Liaise with the Director of Physiotherapy on service planning, quality standards, staff development, and operational matters within the division
- Extensive clinical experience delivering physiotherapy services to diverse patients in acute medical settings, with particular expertise in managing complex cases and providing specialised care for older adults
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including advanced negotiation, consultation and conflict resolution abilities, with proven track record of building and maintaining strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities or strong motivation to develop management skills, with experience or enthusiasm for guiding teams and driving service excellence
- A degree or equivalent which entitles registration as a physiotherapist with the physiotherapy board of Australia
