If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!As the Assistant Director at Goodstart, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.This role will also include you being an Early Childhood Teacher where you will ignite a love of learning in children, guiding their development with purposeful and energetic teaching practices.In this role, you will:

Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

You’ll need:

Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
Hold a current NSW Working with Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
Hold active accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
