The Role:If you're a retail leader who lives and breathes music or pro audio gear and loves helping customers and teams reach their full potential, this is your chance to step into a high-impact role with Australia's leading music retail group.This full-time role reports to the National Retail Manager and will see you take ownership of all aspects of the store, from team performance to customer experience, store presentation, sales results, and operational excellence. You'll also play a key role in the upcoming relocation and expansion of our West Leederville site and the introduction of new product categories.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Consultants and Department Managers
Manage daily store operations, rosters, and performance outcomes
Drive sales and ensure targets/KPIs are achieved across the team
Oversee store presentation, cleanliness, and product/category merchandising
Stay up to date with product launches and provide product training to the team
Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability
Use systems including Pronto, Zendesk, and Microsoft tools to manage inventory, customer requests, and sales processes
Ensure compliance with all safety, company, and industry standards
Contribute to store-wide initiatives like stocktake and store relocation
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience managing a customer-facing retail team
Strong working knowledge of musical instruments and/or pro audio equipment
High-level sales and customer service expertise
Confidence using retail management systems (e.g., Pronto, Zendesk)
Someone who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment
A team leader who is passionate about mentoring others and creating an extraordinary in-store experience
