We are accredited by NATA and ISO 9001, ensuring our services meet both Australian and international standards.Job DescriptionSGS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team in Kalgoorlie. This role plays a key part in ensuring our equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably in a dynamic laboratory environment. This is not a FIFO position, the successful candidate is required to be based in Kalgoorlie.Duties include, however not limited to:Perform both breakdown and scheduled maintenance on manual equipment.Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with laboratory staff to implement long-term solutions.Analyse plant and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.Contribute to projects focused on enhancing process efficiency and the reliability of automated systems.Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, adjusting as required.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have:

A qualified mechanical fitter with experience in production line/factory process control systems.
Have previous experience with control systems in an industrial environment.
Have strong computer skills and experience in MS Excel
