- Delivering Civil Infrastructure Projects through the various phase from Tendering to Finalisation and develop new business opportunities from inception through to operation.
- Provide ongoing management and leadership to the team and develop, recruit and retain staff to drive successful implementation of the NQ civil infrastructure department.
- Assist in the selection and procurement of plant and equipment.
- Complete commercial and financial monthly cost reviews of ensuring forecasted costs are accurately completed across all projects.
- Report and provide analysis of subcontractor spend on our projects which will lead to understanding the opportunities.
- Drive a safety-first approach across the department in line with Fulton Hogan's "Living Safely 2.0" Culture.
- Be a highly enthusiastic and energetic hands-on- industry professional, with demonstrated ability in managing Civil Infrastructure projects, including TMR and Council projects.
- Have sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices and principals.
- Demonstrate strong financial and commercial acumen and excellent people leadership skills.
- Be adept at building sound relationships, managing clients and stakeholders’ expectations and have an ability to take ownership and problem solve.
- Have a strong understanding of costings, budgets, forecasting, subcontractor management, estimating and cost control.
- Have an ability to drive positive outcomes, while fostering a culture of autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
