Job Category: Frontline Trades and LabourJob Description:Te kōwhiringa | The OpportunitySpotless (a Downer Company) has the contract with the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) for Facilities Maintenance and Management at four main bases: Linton Military Camp, RNZAF Base Ohakea, Burnham Military Camp and Waiouru Military Training Area, the National Army Museum, and several satellite sites where we deliver a suite of services to support Defence capability.As an experienced Boiler Attendant, you will be working in a diverse military operational environment, often under high pressure and dealing with conflicting priorities for the needs of our multiple stakeholders. The position, therefore, requires the individual to plan, organize, and prioritize their work in order to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders. You will be working in a close knit team undertaking shift work at our Burnham site. Your ability to work unsupervised is essential and you will be proud to be the guardian of operating this essential asset.Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

Proven experience in managing boilers and associated assets
Level 3 NZ certificate in Energy & Chemical Operations (Boiler Operation)
Experience in planned preventative maintenance
Be self-managing and able to work effectively in a team as well individually
Be well organized and capable of multi-tasking
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
Have a clean and current driver's license
Pass military and other related security clearance procedures
Enchem(Energy and Chemical Operations) Level will be highly regarded.
