Access theYour new role:As a Billing and Audit Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely billing practices that support effective revenue services. You'll contribute to the smooth delivery of financial processes within Metro South Health.
  • Process billing schedules, inpatient accounts, and related documentation in accordance with legislative and departmental requirements.
  • Liaise with Health Funds, Medicare, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Maintain and update billing records and patient information with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support, data extraction, and reporting to ensure compliance and efficiency across billing systems.
