Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/09/2027.Position Profile: The Health Services Purchasing Team is responsible for developing, modelling, monitoring, and reporting on allocations to Health Service Providers through Service Agreements. The team provides data-driven financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure effective fiscal governance.The Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role in leading and coordinating complex financial modelling and analysis activities. This position contributes to the development of budget allocation scenarios, provides high-level advice to stakeholders, and supports continuous improvement in financial performance and governance. The role requires a proactive, innovative, and collaborative professional with strong analytical and communication skills.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of complex financial models to support budget allocation decisions.
- Provide high-level analytical advice to inform strategic planning and policy development.
- Coordinate and undertake detailed financial analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
