About the RoleYou are an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for research excellence and evidence-based practice. You will lead research capacity-building across the Occupational Therapy department, mentor staff and postgraduate students, and drive the translation of research into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate research initiatives within the Occupational Therapy department.
Mentor and support staff and students in research skill development.
Identify, apply for, and manage internal and external research grants.
Plan, implement, and evaluate quality improvement activities.
Develop and implement evidence-based clinical guidelines and policies.
Classification for this position is between VG14 - VG17 ($126,079.20 - $138,928.40 per annum pro rata).Your Contribution
Degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
Master’s or PhD in a relevant area (or working towards).
Minimum 10 years’ relevant post-graduate OT experience, recognised as a clinical expert.
Demonstrated research leadership with a strong publication history.
Current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain.
