Also selling custom made window coverings as a secondary add on to your portfolio of customers around Melbourne and Victorian travel 1 week every 6 – 8 weeks.The main duty will be to manage the Victorian territory whilst being responsible for the planning and execution of the sales strategy, targeting accounts within the retail or commercial industry of window coverings i.e.: home retailers, interior designers, architects, specifiers, hotels, medical facilities, retirement villages. You will be responsible for building and nurturing client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.Tasks & Responsibilities
Identify and engage with potential clients in the retail and commercial sectors
Conduct in-depth consultations to understand client requirements while recommending suitable window covering solutions
Negotiate and present sales presentations, product demonstrations, and prepare proposals
Maintain accurate sales records and report on sales activities and market activity
Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide appropriate advice
Achieve sales targets and performance KPI’s while ensuring high level customer service
Experience & Qualifications
Proven business development and account manager from the manufacturing industry
Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills who is self-motivated and goal-oriented
Consult and engage at all levels of the business to build and develop appropriate solutions
Negotiate, prepare, and present sales plans, strategies, and forecasting
Create, meet, and exceed sales targets, with an emphasis on business growth
