Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia have a great entry level opportunity to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our Cairns engineering base. As an Aircraft Ground Handler, you will play a key role in maintaining safety, efficiency and base upkeep. Your responsibilities will include,
- Assist engineers with ground handling activities, including wing walk and clearance when aircraft are being moved, connect and disconnect power units and air conditioning units and compressor wash engines.
- Clean aircraft interiors and exteriors.
- Liaise with external suppliers in relation to vehicle and facilities repairs and maintenance.
- Inspecting ground servicing equipment, raising repair orders, inspecting and receipting tooling post repair.
- General base upkeep and stores support
- Physical fitness with the ability to work at heights
- Current Driver’s License
- Eligible to hold an ASIC card
- Methodical approach to work
