We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the Australian operations of a newly acquired business unit. This is a pivotal leadership role offering the unique opportunity to scale a high-growth business with start-up agility, balancing hands-on operational delivery with long-term strategic direction and growth. You will buildReporting to the Board and working closely with the CFO, the CEO will take full P&L ownership, drive integration across existing and new operations, and lead the business through its next phase of growth. The successful candidate will bring proven commercial and operational leadership, with a track record of building culture, developing capability, managing risk and leading in complex, evolving environments.The CEO will be a strategic problem solver and a trusted advisor to Tier 1 operators, with demonstrated success in representing the organisation as a credible ambassador. Skilled in developing networks, securing new business, and managing complex stakeholder environments.Key Responsibilities:

Lead and scale operations while maintaining service excellence and client satisfaction.
Own and deliver against financial targets, safety metrics, and operational KPIs.
Act as a visible leader internally and externally, representing the business with credibility and influence.
Build high-performing teams and embed a values-led culture across the organisation.
Oversee integration and change management efforts across business units and subsidiaries.
Provide clear, actionable insights to support data-informed strategic decision-making.
Cultivate strong client, investor, and stakeholder relationships to support growth and market reputation.
Collaborate with the CFO to manage capital planning, budgets, and enterprise risk.

Proven leadership experience within a mining contractor or a related field, with full P&L responsibility
A strong track record of delivering sustainable growth, having scaled a business before
Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to deliver commercial growth while maintaining a strong focus on operational risk, safety, compliance, and financial discipline
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, able to build relationships with customers and problem solve
Experience navigating complex
A commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
An ability to lead with integrity and authenticity, demonstrating a deep care for people and culture.
Demonstrated experience in building capability, both technical and leadership, in a scale-up environment
A technical foundation in Civil or Mining Engineering
