📅 Duration: 12 MonthsWe are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join a large Government Department, supporting a wide range of ICT Service Management initiatives. This role is hands-on, requiring strong ServiceNow development skills combined with the ability to lead technical delivery and drive continual improvement.🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of technical solutions across ServiceNow and ICT projects.
- Develop, script, and enhance ServiceNow modules, features, and workflows.
- Implement process improvements, automation, and integrations with internal and external teams.
- Prepare technical plans, roadmaps, and release schedules for product delivery.
- Oversee architecture, coding, and delivery of APIs and frameworks with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
- Support governance processes, including environment provisioning and Go Live activities.
- Stay across emerging technologies, architectural patterns, and industry best practices.
- ServiceNow Admin Certification (or higher).
- ITIL Foundation Certification (or higher).
- 3+ years’ hands-on ServiceNow development experience (ITSM, ITSM Pro, ITOM, CSM, Digital Product Release).
- Extensive ServiceNow development (coding, administration, architecture, enhancements, integrations, and data management).
- Scripting and automation (Business Rules, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Workflow Design).
- Experience working within Public Sector or large government environments.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following:
Angular, React, JavaScript, Glide, HTML, CSS, PowerShell
- Experience with Microsoft technologies:
O365 suite (Dynamics 365, Teams, Power Platform)
On-premises (Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM)
- Strong documentation skills (solution architecture, high/low-level designs, operations/as-built guides).
