$170000 - $185000 per annum A Health-Tech organisation disrupting a $23 billion a year sector, are looking for Staff Ruby on Rails engineer who comes as with a strong results driven attitude with an interest in moving into engineering manager role. This is a SaaS platform that has been well adopted in Australia and now looking to expand their footprint in the USA market.THE ROLE
You will be working on the development of the award-winning platform that is doubling in revenue every year for the past 5 years. You will work with a team of 10 Ruby on Rails engineers who are all located within Australia, helping them elevate the technical standards and best practices. You will provide technical direction and guidance for product ensuring that it is in the best position for scale.
This opportunity will allow you to come on board and play a major role in the direction of the technology within the business and will be reporting directly to the CTO.
Must have skills and experience
- 7+ years full stack Ruby on Rails experience
- Front-end experience with Vue - or React.
- Experience providing technical direction and guidance of scaling product.
- Experience with automated testing and deployment - TDD & CI/CD
- Background in software architecture and design
- Strong AWS experience
- Experience building consumable Restful API's
- Ability to collaborate with product manager, designers & non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within an Agile environment.
- Desire to take ownership over technology and champion implementation.
