Fire Services Engineer

- Design and documentation of fire services systems: sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, fire detection and alarm systems.
- Coordinate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure designs meet Australian Standards (AS 2419, AS 2118, AS 1670), NCC, and local authority requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, and tender documentation.
- Support project delivery through construction phase including site inspections and commissioning assistance.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related.
- 3+ years’ experience in fire services design within the building services sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; knowledge of hydraulic modelling software desirable.
- Strong understanding of relevant codes and fire safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Chartered status or working towards CPEng/RPEQ (advantageous but not essential).
