About the roleJoin a team of experienced and dedicated electricians that pride themselves on safety and efficiency as a 1st year Electrical Apprentice in Rosedale.This role will see the successful apprentice working a fulltime roster, Monday to Friday whilst studying a Certificate III in Electrotechnology with AGA. Working predominantly on the road and under the supervision of our senior technicians, you will be provided with the skills and knowledge to work on electrical systems on farms and rural properties.What you will be doing
Installing or upgrading main service panels and sub-panels
Running underground power lines
Setting up generators or backup power systems
Wiring farm equipment and infrastructure such as for milking, feeding, ventilation, and automation systems
Installing outdoor and yard lighting and motion sensors
Wiring pumps, irrigation, and watering systems
Ensuring compliance with codes and standards
Inspecting and maintaining existing systems
Making emergency repairs
Wiring or rewiring farmhouses and accommodations
Participate in regular training and development to enhance your knowledge and skills
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Completing other tasks as directed
What we are looking for
Year 12 Pass or Currently Completing
Recent completion of a Cert II in Electrotechnology
Driver's License
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong skills in Math's and English
Well-presented and well spoken
