Contract Specialist/ Paralegal

- Drafting and reviewing customer contracts and preparing appropriate departures to protect the interests of the company
- Participation in contract negotiations as required;
- Assist with internal approvals of non-compliant contracts;
- Support to the management of contracts entered into by the business units;
- Providing guidance and training to business managers on contract related
- matters; and
- Researching and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws & regulations
- Minimum 2-4 years in contract review, contract negotiation and contract management - mandatory requirement
- Doesn't need to be a lawyer, have a legal background - but would be highly regarded if they had a legal background
- Must have had experience working for a medium-large organisation
- Experience in field services, construction or manufactory industrial would be ideal
- Must have MS office skills at an intermediate level
- Must be able to engage with stakeholders at all different levels in an organisation - Sales teams, Project Managers, Branch Managers, GMs, MD and Corporate
- Must have sound business judgement and commercial acumen
- Must have a solid understanding and practice of commercial contracts
- Must have Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Must be a team player and have good interpersonal skills
