Job Title: Production DrafterLocation: South EastEmployment Type: Full-Time | 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMAbout the Role:Galaxy Personnel are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Production Drafter to support our client's production team in delivering high-quality, accurate drafting work. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production documentation and models meet the needs of fabrication and construction, with a focus on efficiency and precision.The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of drafting principles and be proficient in 3D modeling software, particularly AutoCAD and Tekla. This is a hands-on role that requires strong coordination with production teams and excellent organizational skills.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and modify technical drawings, plans, and specifications for production purposes
Modify 3D CAD and Tekla models to align with production requirements
Extract and work with NC and DXF files for manufacturing
Organize and manage production documentation including shop drawings, specifications, and material orders
Ensure deadlines are consistently met with high standards of accuracy
Perform data entry, analysis, and reporting using Microsoft Excel

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of drafting principles and structural detailing
Proficiency in 3D modeling software (AutoCAD and Tekla preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data tracking and reporting
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Experience with structural steel drafting is highly desirable
