Forklift Operator

• Weighing, counting, and labelling waste upon arrival, along with completing necessary documentation.
• Loading and unloading collection and delivery vehicles.
• Identifying and allocating waste to appropriate storage locations.
• Safely operating all plant and equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the operational area.
• Reporting any safety breaches and equipment maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Recording daily prestart checks on forklifts.
• Ensuring correct labelling of outgoing pallets and containers.
• Assisting in the review and creation of safety documents.
• Attending monthly training sessions and toolboxes.
• Notifying supervisor of PPE and spill kit restocking needs.

• Valid forklift licence and demonstrated experience.
• Experience in waste management or similar industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow procedures and complete documentation accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.

• Competitive hourly rate of $34.53 per hour.
• Mon - Fri day shifts
