Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter (Turbine) to join our Services_EAPA team in Australia .Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Perform maintenance on steam and gas turbines, including complex tasks such as de-blading, re-blading, and rotor balancing, to maximize efficiency and operational longevity.
Ensure safety and quality compliance by following procedures, using protective gear, and adhering to company values.
Disassemble, repair, and balance mechanical equipment, including turbine shafts, journals, and housings, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Conduct measurements and inspections using precision tools, filling out check sheets accurately.
Replace or repair mechanical components, including turbine gears, seals, impellers, fans, and bearings, ensuring seamless operation and reduced downtime.
Operate and maintain balance of plant items, supporting overall equipment efficiency and reliability.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Trade Certificate III in Fitting & Turning or similar.
Proven experience in mechanical fitting on turbines and/or rotating machinery.
Strong ability to manage workloads effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
Valid Driver's and Forklift Licence.
