This is a client-facing, territory-based sales role focused on growing new business and maintaining strong relationships across the distribution and retail sector.You'll be promoting our client's comprehensive family of innovative, compliant, and integrated wall and ceiling solutions through trade distributors, building material retailers, and specialty stores.Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving and exceeding revenue targets in both sales and gross profit
- Actively researching and securing new distribution accounts
- Strategically planning and conducting face-to-face sales calls with detailed CRM follow-up
- Preparing and coordinating Go-To-Market sessions with customers in remote locations
- Providing product training and support to customer sales teams
- Processing sales orders when designated customer service personnel are unavailable
- Managing specific product groups as a field expert on quality and market intelligence
- Promoting company USPs, loyalty programs, and reward initiatives
- Supporting marketing initiatives and providing promotional materials to customers
- Servicing individual stores of national accounts as directed
- Coordinating monthly product training sessions
- Up-selling and cross-selling opportunities across product ranges
- Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly specials are promoted during customer calls
- Responding to customer requests and resolving disputes
- Assisting with debt collection and credit assessment processes
- Utilizing CRM systems and business software for sales analysis and reporting
- Gathering market intelligence on trends, competitor pricing, and opportunities
We're seeking a motivated, hands-on Account Manager with strong commercial instincts and experience working directly with distributors and retailers in the building materials industry.You'll bring:
