An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at West Wyalong Health Service. This role requires an experienced RN confident in working as the sole RN and In-Charge of the department.Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience as Sole RN / In-Charge in ED
- Triage Certificate (mandatory)
- ALS 1 and ALS 2 (mandatory)
- Flexibility to work across a rural facility

MLHD is offering a daily meal allowance of $128.00 for eligible candidates:
- Applies to contracts between 1st September 2025 - 30th November 2025
- Requires commitment to a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks
- Allowance can be claimed for days worked via iExpenses (no receipts required)
- Not retrospective to prior placements; however, current candidates with contract end dates between the above period who have already committed to 8+ weeks will also be eligible to claim from 1st September 2025 onward
West Wyalong Health Service is a small rural facility providing acute, aged care, and emergency services to the surrounding community. Nurses in the ED work autonomously and are expected to handle a broad range of presentations.Fun Fact
