Project descriptionA leading bank in Australia is looking for a senior solution architects to join their CTO office to deliver transformation work across digital banking, consumer finance etc with a deep understanding of technology trends, platforms, and methodologies and the ability to think strategically to design solutions that meet business requirements. We are currently on the lookout for a highly skilled Solution Architect, specifically working within the non-financial risk domain. Some key systems used are IBM OpenPages, MyCompliance Office, and Nice Surveil-XResponsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop high-level and detailed technical design specifications that are aligned with the overall solution architecture.
  • Lead the implementation of solutions, including the coordination of development and deployment activities, and management of vendors.
  • Ensure that solutions are aligned with the organisation's technology road map and architecture principles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for the adoption of new technologies where appropriate.
  • Mentor and guide development teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and to a high standard.
SKILLSMust have
  • The role requires someone with a robust understanding of non-financial risk management, who can help us design and implement effective solutions, mostly on existing applications.
  • The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in solution architecture, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to drive our projects forward
  • Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related.
  • Experience with solution architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Strong technical skills with an understanding of different technologies, architecture patters and design principles.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, system integration, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker.
  • Adaptable leader who can problem solve and guide others.
  • Strong attention to detail.
