Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.Your key responsibilities
  • You will have the opportunity to work on multiple client engagement teams across various sectors
  • You will help clients identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve process efficiency, effectiveness and business performance. You will be evaluating the cost effectiveness and risks of operational processes, activities, policies and systems
  • You will leverage innovative tools and AI to evaluate the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes, controls, activities, policies and systems
  • You will be assisting clients with establishing audit objectives, and designing and implementing audit methodologies, processes and audit report criteria. You will be conducting audits and investigations and preparing financial statements and reports
  • You will be attending meetings and reporting on the existence and effectiveness of the system of internal controls
Skills and attributes for successThis role requires you to have:
  • Strong understanding of key business processes, risks and controls
  • Experience in using key internal auditing techniques such as process walkthroughs, risk analysis, control identification and assessment and testing of operating effectiveness
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues across the business, supporting them and promoting a collaborative culture
Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients to better understand their businesses and provide relevant insights
  • The skills to apply a structured approach to project management and documentation, and a demonstrated understanding of risk-based internal audit methodologies
  • Experience working for a blue chip, government or professional services organisation as an Internal Auditor
