Let’s make a meaningful difference, together!Your part in The Wesley Hospital teamAs a Dining Host at the Wesley Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service delivery to all customers including patients, staff and visitors within the food services department.A varied position, you will be responsible for basic meal preparation, portioning and serving of hot and cold meals, delivering and retrieving meals from customer rooms, supporting and assisting customers to place meal orders and processing orders through our digital menu software via our call centre.You’ll demonstrate a passion for customer service and recognise the importance your role plays in providing an exceptional customer experience at The Wesley Hospital.What makes a difference for us?
  • Previous experience in a food safe team environment preferred.
  • Flexibility and willingness to multi skill and rotate within the various areas of the Food Services Department.
  • A professional attitude with excellent personal presentation, communication and customer service skills.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of food safety.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles and PPE requirements.
  • Availability to work AM and PM shifts within the Food Services operation (between the hours of 5.30am - 9.30pm on a 7-day rotating roster).
  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
