This position plays a key role in supporting the smooth functioning of a fast-paced operations team. The successful candidate will provide critical administrative and logistical support to field surveillance teams and the Perth-based logistics unit.Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support : Deliver daily administrative support to facilitate seamless operations. Coordinate closely with logistics and field teams to manage operational requirements.
  • Schedule Management : Maintain accurate schedules, calendars, and rosters with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Document Control : Draft, review, and manage operational documentation, reports, and internal communications with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Systems & Data Entry : Maintain data integrity across platforms and contribute to improving workflows and admin systems.
  • Problem Solving : Identify process inefficiencies and provide proactive, solution-oriented support.
  • Logistics Coordination : Assist with planning and coordinating fieldwork logistics including transport, resource allocation, and supply tracking.
  • Compliance & Records : Ensure all activities align with internal policies and relevant industry standards.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven ability to organise, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal – to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience taking accurate and action-oriented minutes for operational meetings.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), document management systems, databases, and mobile tech (e.g., iPhones).
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to complete a two-week trial period (in Karratha), including induction.
  • Ability to work onsite in Karratha (this is not a FIFO position).
  • Submission of a valid National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months.
