Production Planner – Mackay, QldAbout the OpportunityThe Workshop Production Planner plays a pivotal role in orchestrating efficient and high-quality production workflows within a dynamic workshop environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in structured team settings and enjoys working with precision and collaboration. Responsible for strategic scheduling, resource optimization, and ensuring production milestones are met, the Production Planner works closely with supervisors, technicians, and procurement teams to drive seamless operations and deliver exceptional results.Responsibilities:
- Develop, finalise, and distribute detailed production plans to relevant stakeholders.
- Create and manage production schedules to maximise workflow efficiency and resource utilisation.
- Provide customers with clear and timely daily and weekly progress updates.
- Collaborate with workshop teams to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Monitor parts availability and coordinate procurement to prevent operational delays.
- Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance, repairs, and scheduled servicing activities.
- Evaluate production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend actionable solutions to improve productivity.
- Prepare variation bills of materials and cost estimates as required for scope changes.
