
Account Executive - Payments

- Generate a quality pipeline from both incoming leads and targeted outbound lead generation (prospect to purchase).
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for new business.
- Effectively utilise our CRM software to manage the sales pipeline, including documenting, tracking, and following up on all active opportunities.
- Develop, present and maintain an active Territory Plan, which is execution focused.
- Work with Marketing to ensure that our messaging in the market and the supporting campaigns are driving the required engagement.
- Support the coordination of complex bid processes, interacting effectively with both internal and external executive stakeholders.
- Keep up to date on the Compass product and participate in regular training & informational sessions.
- Support and attend local and national marketing events.
- Collaborate with the Onboarding and Training Team to bring new Customers onto the Compass Platform efficiently.
- Ad hoc tasks as requested by your manager.
- Extensive experience selling Payment solutions (5+ years).
- A strong understanding of the Payments landscape in Australia including knowledge of the latest trends and regulations is highly desired.
- Proven ability engaging with senior finance executives.
- A true passion for putting customers first and delivering a consultative approach to sales.
- The ability to build relationships and rapport quickly and effectively across a wide range of stakeholder and personalities.
- The ability to work autonomously but also work well within a team environment.
- Experience leading and aligning virtual teams.
- Proven ability working with multiple stakeholders, understanding pain points and creating value which drives measurable benefits.
