Learn more at www.ingrammicro.com.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and services of our Eastern Creek site. Reporting to the Director of Operations ANZ, you will be responsible for ensuring the site operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This hands-on role will see you leading a team of maintenance technicians, managing automated systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across our facilities and equipment.Role Responsibilities
- Oversee all building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment and automated systems.
- Lead, train, and support a team of maintenance technicians.
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare regular reports.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive process improvements and implement new technologies to optimise performance.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ facilities or maintenance management experience, ideally in a warehouse/distribution environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, conveyors, PLCs, and automation.
- Proven project management experience, including large-scale capital projects.
- Understanding of WHS legislation and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
