Our people are at the core of our success, bringing expertise, innovation, and leadership to critical Defence programs.Our Technical, Advisory, and Capability practice and Team Downer serves as one of the Major Service Providers delivering consulting services and Integrated Work Packages across the Department of Defence, leveraging innovative approaches such as mission and digital engineering to enable the successful delivery of critical Defence programs.This includes collaboration with key Defence entities, including Defence Digital Group (DDG), National Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), and branches across the Navy, Army, and Air Force.We're interested in hearing from professionals specialising in Engineering.We are currently seeking skilled Platform Engineer, Maritime Engineer, Model-Based Systems Engineer, SATCOM Engineer for our consulting services and Integrated Work Packages.If successful in securing a role, your work may involve:

System Design & Integration - Engineers ensure that defence systems are designed efficiently and integrated seamlessly with existing infrastructure.

Security & Compliance - Maintaining cybersecurity standards and ensuring compliance with defence regulations.

Operational Support & Maintenance - Providing ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and system upgrades to maintain operational readiness.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Working with multidisciplinary teams, including military personnel, contractors, and government agencies.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement - Researching and developing new technologies to enhance defence capabilities.

We are seeking candidates with defence industry experience in the follow areas:

Strong Engineering experience within Defence, government, or professional services.

Systems Engineering & Integration - Experience in designing, developing, and integrating complex defence systems to ensure seamless functionality.

Cybersecurity & Compliance - Familiarity with defence security protocols, risk management, and regulatory standards to maintain operational security.

Technical Problem-Solving - Hands-on experience troubleshooting and optimizing engineering solutions in high-stakes environments.

Our work is highly complex and confidential; applicants must be Australian citizens with a minimum NV1 security clearance. Additionally, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be necessary.
