As a Lecturer in Inclusive Education at the University of Melbourne, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of inclusive education. You'll contribute to postgraduate programmes, conduct cutting-edge research, and mentor the next generation of educators. Your expertise will directly impact classroom practices, improving outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.Your responsibilities will include:Deliver Innovative Teaching: Coordinate and teach postgraduate courses in inclusive education, developing high-quality teaching materials and online resources.Conduct Impactful Research: Lead research initiatives in inclusive education, publish in top-tier journals, and secure competitive grants.Supervise and Mentor: Guide PhD and master’s students in their research projects, fostering the next generation of inclusive education experts.Engage with the Community: Participate in activities that strengthen university-community links and disseminate knowledge in inclusive education.You may be a great fit if:
You are a passionate educator and researcher with expertise in inclusive education, particularly in learning difficulties, who can develop innovative teaching programmes and conduct impactful research while mentoring postgraduate students.You may also:Have a PhD in Education or a related field with a focus on inclusive education or learning difficulties.Possess a strong track record of publications in leading international journals, relative to experience.Demonstrate experience in securing competitive research grants.Have proven teaching excellence at the postgraduate level.Show a commitment to innovative, high-quality teaching and research supervision.For further information please refer to the attached PD.What we offer you!
