Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Engineering Surveyor to deliver high-quality surveying services across diverse client projects. In this role, you will undertake a variety of engineering survey tasks and ensure all outcomes meet project timelines and quality standards. You’ll be client-facing and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely survey deliverables while upholding safety and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSurvey ExecutionCarry out a wide range of engineering survey tasks as directed.Reduce and compute survey data; generate survey plans from field data.Undertake pre-survey preparation including job files, field notes, plans, and pre-calculations.Ensure survey jobs are delivered professionally, efficiently, and to scope.Maintain high standards in operation of allocated equipment and vehicles.Client & Team ManagementLiaise with clients to understand and meet survey needs.Lead and manage junior staff (e.g., Assistant Surveyor or Instrument Hand).Maintain accurate job records for invoicing and documentation.Safety & ComplianceFollow OH&S standards, including completing Take 5s, SWMS, and JSAs.Participate in Toolbox and Safety meetings.Assist with onsite risk assessments and audits.Adhere to internal BMS, HSEQ, and Quality Management procedures.Culture & LeadershipPromote a strong, positive workplace culture.Address workplace issues proactively.Actively participate in professional development and training.Qualifications & ExperienceEssentialBachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geodetic Engineering, or related field.Minimum 7 years of experience as an Engineering Surveyor.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.Valid Driver’s License.Reporting & AccountabilityReports to: Designated Manager (depends on roles and work area)Accountable to: Project delivery, client engagement, safety compliance, and internal quality standards.What Our Client OffersDynamic and supportive survey team environmentOngoing training and career developmentOpportunity to work on a variety of high-profile infrastructure and engineering projectsCompetitive salary package based on experience
