We have an initial 6 month fixed term contract for a Senior Technical application Analyst (PeopleSoft) based in St Lucia, Brisbane.Our client is a front runner in the education sector in Queensland. Core responsibilities:

Solution design, implementation, testing and documentation of solutions to deliver features that meet customer requirements while managing stakeholder expectations around system and resource constraints. (Oracle PeopleSoft)
Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyse business processes, identifying operational needs and proposing innovative solutions for automated and non-automated components, fostering process improvements.
Take responsibility for the creation of test cases and test scripts using in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications. Conduct and facilitate testing activities in accordance with the approved Test Strategy.
Lead project management for significant IT projects, engaging in negotiation and liaison with senior stakeholders to ensure adherence to organisational policies and strategies.
Provide senior technical advice, support, and mentoring while maintaining an in-depth knowledge of business processes and systems.

About You:

Significant experience in business analysis and requirements gathering, technical solution design, testing, correcting and documenting solutions within a large ERP system. (Oracle PeopleSoft)
Experience in solution design and risk management activities to ensure the robustness of proposed solutions, with the demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders, including vendors and other technical teams, to manage these to resolution.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively mentor and provide technical leadership to other team members and to communicate and negotiate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Excellent written communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to write clear and precise user and technical specifications, with the ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in designing, testing, coding, and documenting complex programs and scripts for Oracle PeopleSoft applications.
