- Preparation & delivery of meal services with consultation with Head Chef
- Ensure all areas of the kitchen are clean, sanitised and presentable at all times
- Implementation and management of the Food Safety Program
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers and barbeques
- Document incoming goods, food holding units and temperature probes
- Report all defective equipment and tools to the Head Chef
- Australian recognised Commercial Cookery qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience in large commercial kitchens
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a team member
- Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
