Ventia's Sous Chef position is based at our Anglo American Mine Site Camp in Moura, working a 14 day on/7 day off roster, Fly in - Fly out, with meals and accommodation provided whilst on site. Transport is provided to site from the nearest airport to Moura.This is a permanent role with a salary of $101,069.80 plus superannuation, annual leave and sick leave is also accrued.About the role

Preparation & delivery of meal services with consultation with Head Chef
Ensure all areas of the kitchen are clean, sanitised and presentable at all times
Implementation and management of the Food Safety Program
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers and barbeques
Document incoming goods, food holding units and temperature probes
Report all defective equipment and tools to the Head Chef

What we're looking for

Australian recognised Commercial Cookery qualification
Minimum 2 years experience in large commercial kitchens
Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a team member
Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
